WHO: COMTE DE ROCHAMBEAU

1725-1807

He was a French general who came to America with French troops to help the Americans.

He served under General George Washington and helped plan the Battle of Yorktown where the British General Cornwallis was defeated.

He was known for his courteous behavior and extreme professionalism.
